Elysion removes unwanted hair from all skin types (from phototype 1 to 6 according to the Fitzpatrick scale) throughout the year. It is the only diode laser that can be used for hair removal even during the summer. Client feedback is extremely positive regarding the gradual improvement and reduction of hair growth in the treated area from the very first session, with long-lasting results.
Skin type is one of the most important factors and a key prerequisite for achieving excellent results with a minimum number of treatments. According to the Fitzpatrick scale, there are 6 different skin types – from 1 to 6. Lighter skin types allow the use of a higher amount of energy in the form of a pulse that penetrates the skin, with minimal risk of unwanted effects.
For this reason, darker skin types are generally more limited when it comes to laser hair removal. However, this does not apply to the Elysion diode laser, which can treat even the darkest phototype.
Elysion treatments allow effective hair removal even from the most sensitive facial skin. The appropriate wavelength ensures that the laser reaches the correct depth of the hair follicles.
Elysion removes hair selectively by targeting the pigment in the hair follicle – melanin. The laser pulses cause thermal destruction of the follicle without damaging the skin.
Elysion features a cooling system that protects the skin from high temperatures and makes the hair removal treatment painless. The cooling system is called “Crystal Freeze”. It maintains a constant temperature of 6°C at the tip of the applicator, regardless of the room temperature. The system creates a pleasant cooling sensation on the skin, making the treatment safe, painless, and comfortable.
